Stripes&Spots at Sugar Creek Hollow

I just can't get enough of my new Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps, so I decided to make a Christmas Card following the same design as my previously posted tag.  My Ma recently introduced me to Sugar Creek Hollow's Blog, so I decided to play along in this weeks challenge, Stripes&Spots.
'Christmas Cardinal'
I stamped my green Core'dinations cardstock with my {favourite} Distressed Dots stamp, by Unity.  I added a burgndy/red Christmas {unknown} paper, that I hope will count as stripes, distressed the edges, inked them with Aged Mahogany distress ink and spritzed with some homemade mini misters.  The Poinsettia paper is by Making Memories, and is a stunning paper {the whole line is, really}...then I got to the fun part.u
The Sheet Music stamp, Cardinal and {gold embossed} branch are all Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps, stamped with Tim Holtz distress inks.  The gold star is a pop can, punched from a Sizzix die and tinted with Gold Alcohol Inks {oh! I also folder embossed the star}.  The holly leaves are My Mind's Eye papers {I should mention that the one leaf with the big dots is a striped paper}, have been cut using a Sizzix die, folder embossed using two different sized dots and inked with {more} distress inks.  I added a small piece of birch bark {from the backyard},some red ribbon from my stash and a MME {dotted} brad.

Not being much of a 'card maker' {compared to my Ma, anyhow}, I must say that I do like the outcome.

Great Days,
Jasmine
