That Darn Dog

I just get her spick and span and then this happens...
'God Made Dirt'
{scan}
Sure, sure, she's cute...but dirty, and then there are all of these wonderful, little paw prints throughout the house because she insists on busting past me at the door before I can wipe her feet... what a nutbar.
Anyway, this layout started with, well the pictures, but then a file folder, which has been cut down to 8.5" square.  I added some My Mind's Eye and Authentique leftovers and threw on some {acrylic} paint {just cheapies from the dollarstore} to create the look of 'mud'.  The alphas are a mix of Pink Paisley and Thickers that have been rubbed with a mix of sandpaper, Walnut Stain distress ink, more paint, and {homemade} glimmer mist.

{made dirt...so Gdirt don't hurt}
'God' has been popped up using popdots {dollarstore} for some added demension.  This is my first time really working with paints on a layout...and it will definitely NOT be my last!
{another angle}
 Thanks for stopping by!

Great Days
