Happy Halloween!!! ...and the Haunted Blog Hop Winner!

First off, hope everyone is well...and safe! As I write this the WIND IS WHIPING and HOWLING OUTSIDE!
Second, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
I have created this easel card using KREAXION'S 4in1 Punch#304! For the face of the card I cut a circle out using the AMAZING circle cutter and then PUNCHED AROUND THE INSIDE of the circle, using KREAXION'S positioning parts! {For more information on KREAXION'S PRODUCT go HERE} I mounted the punched circle on black cardstock, added some black rhinestones and that spooky Happy Halloween sticker!
For the base of the card, I simply punched both sides of a strip of paper with the SAME KREAXION'S PUNCH - only using NO INSERT! Then I added some more black rhinestones!

Now, onto the WINNER!!!
Congratulations STEPHANIE, who said 'I love the huge numbers! Great job! I also tweeted about the bloghop - thanks for the chance to win!'
{I will email you for shipping details!}

HAPPY HAUNTING, All!!! Be SAFE!

When We All Get To Heaven

It has been a while since I have participated in the Hymn and Scripture Challenge over at Triple the Scraps, but I like this hymn and decided it was time to SCRAP SOMETHING!
'SING&SHOUT VICTORY'
{different angle}
The Hymn 'When We All Get to Heaven' is from a few challenges back, but I decided it was time to play catch-up! I used a new die, the ripped paper edge, that I bought off someone at THE SCRAP YARD {facebook}...actually the doily and the alphas are from The Scrap Yard, as well. {it is a fantastic facebook group where you can buy and sell new and/or gently used Scrappy Supplies for a GREAT PRICE}  I made the charm tassel from pieces I had about the house, they have been strung together and fastened in a vintage thimble. The patterned paper is MME and the Scripture {John 14} is handwritten on bazzill basics cardstock.

Just Imagine Crafts Haunted {Blog} Hop!

Welcome, Welcome...and Happy {upcoming} Halloween!
I hope that you have hopped over from Ginni's Blog {starting at the Just Imagine Crafts Blog, of course!} There are some FANTASTIC PRIZES to be won {how does a 4in1 Punch and the World's Most Amazing Circle Cutter sound?}...PLUS, I have a little treat of my own up for grabs!

I have made a layout using Kreaxion's Punch 916 and the AMAZING CIRCLE CUTTER!
'Fright Night'
...now as you can see, it is missing the picture - I have NEVER done this before {pre-scrap a page}, but I can definitely see myself doing it again...now I just need to make sure I get a picture of my niece and nephews that matches the layout!
{Close Up of Punch 916 work - before the layout was finished}
I used the 'negative' part of Punch 916 and laid them out in a sort of 'stitch like' pattern, then attached them with my favourite glue pen {Martha Stewart}. I cut a large {7"} HALF circle with my circle cutter and attached it under my glittered Grunge Board Numbers. The Halloween Patterned Paper is MME and the tiny black frame is from the dollar bin at Michael's.
Now onto my treat...
{THIS RAK IS OPEN TO EVERYONE...no matter where you live!}
I am offering up a CHRISTMAS PACKAGE, odd, I know, but I figure by the time I ship it out, Halloween will be past us...So, Christmas it is! Wanna Win? Oh How Time Flies!

I, like so many others, cannot believe that it is almost Halloween...almost NOVEMBER {which, around here, means the begining of a long and COLD Winter...ugh!}
This year my plan is to get my niece and nephews McDonald's gift certificates as 'treats'...they do just fine on their own with the candy thing!
'Give Me Something Good to Eat'
I used a number of Kreaxion's Products {listed here} to created the 'punched circle frame' around the cute, little trick or treaters {my mind's eye paper}.  I hand cut the gift card envelope and tucked it into the punched pocket on the bottom part of the card.
{close up}
The Halloween chant has been typed up on Microsoft Word and printed on another piece of My Mind's Eye paper, I then added some dollar bin Michael's rhinestones to each piece.

I am STILL RE-ORGANIZING MY SCRAPROOM...and I should apologize to my Ma...everytime I told her I really don't have that many scrappy supplies...I lied. I have WAY MORE SUPPLIES than I thought and it is taking MUCH LONGER to organize than I expected {plus that pesky thing called LIFE keeps getting in the way - lol} I am hoping to be FINISHED everything sometime in NOVEMEBER and will definitely be posting pics!

HAPPY SCRAPPING!

The Art of Wild Abandonment!

I always get a little excited when something actually comes out of 'wasting time' on the Internet...{I am SO GUILTY of this....the wasting time part} Anyway, I was surfing the web and came across Junelle {Jacobson} and Christy {Tomlinson}'s  MIXED MEDIA class, The Art of WILD ABANDONMENT.  Now, I had been toying with Mixed Media for a bit, had taken a Great Class with Linda Heavens at my Local Scrapbooking Store and became quickly addicted.  So, when I saw the AMAZING technique that was being taught in the class {The Art of Wild Abandonment}, I knew I had to give it a go - and signed up!
I LOVE it... It is a 3 week course and you start with sketching - which I don't do enough of, but this has really lit a fire...
We started with {sketching} Radishes {just basic shapes - circle} and then working a bit with watercolour pastels.
{here are mine}
Now I am working on the next step {stay tuned}...OWLS & CUPCAKES
It is definitely taking me longer than the '3 week' course, but I am not working on it every day {something about there being more to life than 'art' - ugh}, and I hope to be finished The Art of Wild Abandonment 1 by the middle/end of November...and start the new Art of Wild Abandonment 2 now being offered by the gals in December...
