Well, the 're-vamping' of my scrappy room has been going on for sometime now...{since September 2012} Now, I know that seems like a LONG TIME, but if you fit everyday life, planning a friend's wedding and feeling a little under the weather in there, it really isn't that long - and it has been mostly done for sometime, just some odds and ends needing to be put into place.
Anyway, I thought I would post a few pics of my on-going {scrappy} organization.
EMBELLISHMENTS
Left: Recollections {16 compartment} Drawer filled with {dollarama} Jars with random 'embellishments' in them {I have 32 of these jars - YIKES}
Right: Magnetic Spice Jars - mounted onto a Magnetic White Board {Staples}... I have quite a few of these, as well {anybody need any embellies??}! I label all of them and attach one embellishment to the top.
STICKLES/GLITTER GLUE/MISTERS
My bottles have a magnet attached to them {Glitter Glue - on the bottom, keeps the air from getting to the top of the bottle} and are hung on a small, metal strip I bought at LOWES.
All of my Misters have been numbered on the bottle AND in my 'Scrappy Supply Book'. Each card contains the 'recipe' for the individual colour... then I know how to make it again!
DIES/EMBOSSING FOLDERS/STENCILS
All stored in Recollections 4-Drawer Cubes - fit wonderfully!
For 'thin' dies, I cut a square piece of cardstock and a slightly smaller piece of SIZZIX PACKAGING - I stitched the packaging to the cardstock, leaving ONE SIDE open, creating a pocket - Just label and slide the die in!
STICKERS
Stored by category {boy/girl/Christmas/etc} in a Recollections Slotted 2-Drawer Cube
ALPHAS/NUMBERS
Full sheets are stored in another Recollections Slotted 2-Drawer Cube - and then the random/loose pieces are stored in 'pockets' made from vintage dictionary pages.
PAPER
All of my 'SCRAPS' are separated by colour in a large file folder tote {Wal-Mart}
So, are you bored yet from the LONG POST! Well, will break and post the rest at a later date! Thanks so much for stopping by!
