Memory Lane

Aunt Heather
'Aunt: Remember with Warmth, think of with Pride and Cherish with Love'

Continuing my month of looking back, I can't help but post this layout of my late Aunt Heather.  I have a tendency of going through my Grandparents 'old' photos and picking out little gems to be scrapped.  When I came upon this cute photo I opted to not make a new copy, but scrap the original photo.  It is somewhat faded and a bit out of focus, but when it comes to some 'vintage' photos they themselves become somewhat of an embellishment.

A Time to Remember

I have decided to start of a month of Remembrance by posting this layout of my Pops {my grandfather}.  With Remembrance Day {11/11/11} quickly approaching I cannot help but think of him, I miss him dearly.  I made this layout just after he passed away, in fact it was between the day he passed and his funeral.  I can recall coming home and getting out all of the wonderful pictures of him, spreading them out all over the living room floor and Remembering.

The Dog is Still Alive...

Sassafras Lass
{my cute, little pooch}
I am putting all of the blame on Sassie for not having posted in sometime.
For you see, she chewed my computer cord.  Luckily no one was electrocuted and the {surprisingly expensive} cord has since been replaced...Unfortunately, I didn't get around to posting my final Halloween items...next year, I guess. The dinner party and trick or treating went wonderfully!...and they all brought in quite a haul!

Looking forward...
I will have a couple of Remembrance Day projects coming up, just not quite yet.

Thanks for stopping by!
Oh! and I hope you'll stop by the November Edition of GingerScrapStreet Magazine
and check out my project Favourite Things!
