His Inner Calvin and Hobbes

Zachie LOVES having his picture taken. Before you can get the lens off the camera, he is posing & smiling. So when I asked him if he would make these faces, based on Calvin and Hobbes, his answer was 'Say Cheese!'

When I was younger, my Ma would make the family go on all day, out of town shopping trips.  As a child I was sure she was trying to kill me by death of shopping- I hated it (things have since changed). My step-dad, Dan, shared my views on shopping, so together we would head off  to the bookstore.  He would buy a Calvin and Hobbes comic book, we would park ourselves on a mall bench and read it (and laugh) together.  Funny, isn't it, how something I HATED so much as a child has turned out to be one of my fondest memories.
