Hi Jasmine - I love your beautiful mini. I love doing minis. I too made a mini out of a file folder they are so much fun to make. I have made bunches of them. My subject for almost of them are my children. I have done some for my hubby and for friends. I have even taught classes. I found you through Scrapbook Challenges member & retired DT member. Maybe you can do a tutorial on your mini. Thanks for sharing your work. I am now a follower. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time following a blog. Your blog is fantastic. I love the blog title!! I would create a mini book that would include those pictures that you take that put a smile in your heart! I would be sure to include this quote by Aaron Siskind in the mini book: "PHOTOGRAPHY is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have captured on film is captured forever...It remember little things, long after you have forgotten everything." Thanks for the chance to win your awesome scrapping goodies-they are perfect for a mini-album. Happy scrapping and blogging too!
ReplyDeleteYour mini album is absolutely lovely! Thanks for the chance to win the awesome blog candy. I think I would make a mini about my youngest daughter's stay in the neonatal ICU. I have been avoiding scrapbooking them because it was a stressful time and I have so many photos to include. I could probably go and do a month at a time and make a dent in the amount of photos and stories I need to tell.
ReplyDeleteHappy National Scrapbooking Day! I'm a new follower too! My first mini was a gift to my sister several years ago. She sold her house and moved across country to be closer to her children after her husband passed away. So I contacted each of her friends in the old neighborhood and asked each one to send me a picture of themselves waving. I collected all the pictures and did a mini showing her how much she was missed. She loved it and still has it many years later. Minis are great.
ReplyDeleteHappy Scrapbook day !
ReplyDeleteI think my mini book would be about the people close to me who have passed away. I work in a school in pastoral care and sometimes counsel pupils who have lost a pet or a member of their family. so ,an example of a mini memory album to carry round would be good.
I am a new follower! I have done a mini album before made out of paper lunch bags...it was based around my kitties.I would love to make another based on what inspires me.....and maybe a few more based on my kiddos...thanks for the chance to win..:)

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finished your mini. It looks great! What a great giveaway. :) My mini would be about my grandmother. She died before I could meet her and everyone always tells me how much alike we are/were and that we look just alike. I would love to dedicate an album to her!
ReplyDeleteI am always impressed with those of you taking the time to share with us on a blog. I know how much hard work it is. So "Thank you"!! And my mini album will be about life here at home...you know the little things..this will be fun for the kids to look back on.

ReplyDeleteHmmm...I've got a couple of ideas for minis that I want to do. But looking at what's included in the prize package, I think I'd probably do it on my "mini-me" - a 20" CPK that I had customized to look (somewhat) like me. I love your mini - it's adorable - and I can't wait to look at your other posts!
