I keep picking up, cutting up and MESSING UP paper...I have lost my creativity. When this happens I look for inspiration EVERYWHERE and this time inspiration struck while looking through old photos.
'Little Prince Charming'
This is my friend's son, A...he is darling and his blue eyes will melt your heart. This picture was taken in the Summer of 2008, after, I believe, he had a fight with a sidewalk...and, as you can see, the sidewalk won.
This page {8.5x8.5} is made up of a mash of Echo Park, My Mind's Eye, Crate and Wood Veneer papers {I was trying to use up some scraps}. The wonderful scalloped borders {size 1", 1.5" & 2"} have been cut using the Kreaxion's Circle Cutter {as well as, the small circle at the top of the page}.
{scalloped border}
The Alphas are Basic Grey, now they were grey, but then I sanded them down and died them with TH Distress Inks {chipped sapphire, walnut stain & barn door} and then spritzed them with homemade misters. The crown was traced from a mini album my sister had lying around {as was the arrow}, hand cut and mounted so it sticks off of the page {see picture}.
{crown}
Fingers-crossed, this was the end of my scrapbooking slump!
Happy Scrapping!

Jazz, this turned out wonderful. Though I have to say that little guy sure does look hard done by...those nasty old sidewalks can sure sneak up on you sometimes. Anyway looking forward to seeing lots more of your work, it's beautiful.
